This post is a summary of the Vancouver Sun op-ed piece published on Sep 1, 2020.
Courses this fall are primarily online as UBC works to ensure the health and safety of our campus community during COVID-19. Our faculty and staff have worked tirelessly to shift academic offerings to online formats, in preparation for the upcoming school year.
Ainsley Carry, UBC Vice-President of Students, and Andrew Parr, Provost and Vice-President Academic, co-wrote an op-ed for the Vancouver Sun, sharing what September will look like for students at the University.
“When it comes to the student experience, UBC is more than our physical campuses. When students are admitted to UBC, they are admitted to a community that cares for them and is committed to supporting them.”
