RSVP and join Ainsley for lunch and a listening session

This post is an adaptation of an email sent to UBC Vancouver students on Feb 27, 2024.

Dear students,

In November 2023, we held our most recent student listening sessions with UBC students on the Vancouver campus. At those sessions, I heard your thoughts on topics like affordability, health and wellbeing, and navigating the UBC system, to name a few. You can read the full report here

We’re looking forward to hosting another listening session in March, to engage in further dialogue with students as we continue to advance these priorities, and those outlined in the UBC Student Strategic Plan. We look forward to providing you updates on progress being made on key initiatives.

Why attend a listening session? As Vice President, Students, one of my main priorities is to hear from students on what’s working for them, and what isn’t. Listening sessions provide a forum for you to share your feedback on the student experience and ask questions you might have, over lunch.

RSVP to attend the listening sessions, and share your experiences with us. Lunch and refreshments will be provided at the event.

Tuesday, March 5, 12:30–2:00 pm
Lunch provided in the Atrium (lower level) in the AMS Nest

I look forward to seeing you at the listening session.
